Yes, it is possible to do a reading of an eBook. Read ch.1 of ‘Archie’s Gold‘ to Dinah Liko’s gr. 4 class @ Chester school in Toronto last Thursday. Half the class said there was an eReader in their homes. They enjoyed it so much I had to sit and give autographs afterwards in their daily journals. They were interested in where I got my ideas from and if the characters were real. With all the fantasy/zombies/vampires/talking creatures, etc., I think the story held its own. What was really cool was the teacher drew up a character map which is charting all the characters and their relationships to each other; little arrows going back and forth from each other. Dinah will read the entire story to them and slowly add more as they get to the end.
